The Belfast Nashville Songwriter's Festival kicks off for the 15th year in a row on the 6th of march 2019.
The Festival Featuring local artists and others from across the pond in Nashville's sister city of Belfast Northern Ireland.
In the past, the festival has helped catapult careers in the music industry wether it be songwriting for TV, artists releases, publishing or just networking for personal endeavours. The festival has it all covered with workshops, critiques, classes and networking opportunities throughout the festival week.
with hundreds of artists on their books you may have graced your ears with such artists as Nancy Griffith, Jim Lauderdale, Paul Brady Midge Ure and many many more.
Since 2005 The panarts panel showcased local artists at the famous Bluebird Cafe Nashville TN.
I was one of the four chosen to fly to Nashville for the first time ever in 2013.
We landed, it was very hot but very wet, a nice change from cold and wet I thought, I just loved every minute of being there.
I stood gazing at the shop fronts across the street, there it was... The Bluebird!
I was beyond excited.
I performed in the second round with Belfast singer songwriter Emily Rose Conlon and The fantastic Lee Roy Parnell USA.
What a night, one I will never forget, the trip on a whole was a delight from word go and a memory I cherish dearly, I enjoyed it so much I have visited 6 times.
ABOUT MY SINGLE LAUNCH
As I recorded my Album (due to release later this year) in Nashville 2018, I am doing a pre launch of the debut single from this album as part of the festival.
The single will only be exclusively available on this website for Belfast Nashville ticket holders and subscribers. Until a later date.
Prior to recording, I raised some extra funding via GOFUNDME and those funds will be exchanged for exclusive material to those who Kindly donated.
My pre single features my band members who also accompanied me to Nashville.

First up to host the show, we have the awesomely talented, funny and super enthusiastic Steve Goodie, all the way from Nashville
He will be performing his own unique material which promises to be an ice breaker and set the tone for the night.
Next up, we have Cora Kelly who has also gone to Nashville to perform and is a beautiful performer, I heard Cora at a singer/songwriter competition and she really stuck in my mind. Her original material is outstanding and her modest character makes it all the more appealing.
Following Cora is Bronagh Broderick, who blew my socks off at the same singer/songwriter competition and is a professional gigging musician, Bronagh will not fail to impress!

Thirdly we have the amazing talent of AliceLA, Alice performs original material and has shot music videos to songs like Swipe Right and Mr Summer Solstice.
Alice is really one to watch with a uniqueness to her voice and a stage presence that is popping with her synth vibes and upbeat flavours, her strong voice holds it's own and doesn't falter under those elements.
